Liz Pearson: The dietitian who communicates healthy eating advice that changes lives.

Mission Statement of the Pearson Institute of Nutrition: to translate the often-confusing and ever-changing science of healthy eating into practical, commonsense advice that people can follow in their busy lives.
Research Highlight
In a study by the USDA only 8% of men and 2% of women met recommended intakes for vitamin E. Eating more nuts and seeds, especially almonds, sunflower seeds and hazelnuts can help boost your intake of this important nutrient.
Label Reading Tip
Look for products that are low in saturated fat (2 grams or less per serving) and trans-fat free (0g).
Good Advice
If you want your kids to love eating fruits and vegetables, eat and really enjoy fruits and vegetables yourself. One of the strongest predictors of what children eat is what their parents eat.
